New Car!

It only took about two months, but as of yesterday I am the proud owner of a quite old Navy blue Mitzubishi Pajero :-D

I now have about 4 months to make good use of it so from now on its safari every freeekin weekend! (if possible..)
Otherwise things here move in their own caotic pace towards xmas, last weekend I was at the traditional nordic xmasfair at the swedish school. kilos of homemade leverpostej, Kalles kaviar på tube og underlige nordisk-afrikanske juledekorationshybrider..
alt i alt superhyggeligt og den danske juleplatte manglede kun silden for at være perfekt!
"foråret" her går på hel, det nordlige kenya har fået altt alt for meget regn..
(ooops i guess i switched to Danish without noticing.. sorry)
anyways as I was saying, the northeastern parts of Kenya has gone straight from draught to floods, the somali refugeecamps are flooded and a few camps have been cut of totally.
here in nairobi the rain is mostly just minor problems. though people in the slums probably arent enjoying it much.
2 weeks ago we had Connie hedegård and Kofi Annan + some 4000 delegates from all over the world here to discuss the Kyoto protocol (pics will come) a big circus which I didnt get to really enjoy as I was more or less in bed sick most of the time, I did never the less get to show some danish guest a bit around (pics will come..some day..) and It was quite fun after all.
enough for now, Charlotte my boss found my ToR (terms of Reference) ("arbejdsbeskrivelse") and has decided that it is about time that i actually do some serious work!
(which is good since Ilearn stuff, but bad since i actually have to..well learn stuff..) anyways i hope u are all well! im looking forward to my parents and Bro comming to see me straight after xmas at the same time i am trying to figure out where to actually spend the 24..
